Our Smile Bowls are named because the contrasting color glaze appears to make a big open smile on each side of the bowls, not to mention the fun pop of color typically does make us smile too.
This bowl is made with light stoneware clay, with its smile glazed in matte black with a dark matte olive-y overlap, reminding us a bit of the gleaming white subway tiles and the urban feel while exploring Brooklyn.
